ICE has no accounts, no email sign-up, no analytics, no ads and no third-party scripts.
On your devices
Each browser stores its own encrypted wallet share and device settings on that device. They're locked with your passkey (Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode) and never leave the device unencrypted. Your 12 backup words are shown to you once and never sent anywhere.
On ICE's relay
To let your devices reach each other, the relay stores:
- device public keys and a hashed sign-in token for each device,
- pairing and setup status,
- pending transactions, approvals and signatures,
- encrypted messages between your devices, which it can't read (deleted after 24 hours).
It never receives private keys, wallet shares, passkeys, pairing secrets or backup words.
Wallet addresses and transactions are public on the Solana blockchain anyway, as with any Solana wallet.
Network data
Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) and database provider (Neon) process your IP address to serve requests. We use IP addresses for short-lived rate limits that stop abuse. Your browser also talks directly to a Solana RPC provider to check balances and send transactions, which sees your IP address and the wallet address it's asked about.
